What is the Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is an extremely gentle work that allows the body's innate healing power to restore the natural balance of the body and integrate the whole person.
It was developed by a former osteopath William Garner Sutherland (1873-1954).
I usually place my hands on the client very gently and listen to the rhythm of the body. We all have some imbalance and restrictions in our body which hinders the natural flow and rhythm of the body. By tuning into the clients body, I facilitate the natural flow of the body to rebalance itself and clear out the restrictions.
Craniosacral Therapy goes very well with the Alexander Technique.
Who is it for?
People come to the Craniosacral session for different reasons, such as:
Back, neck, shoulder pain
Baby with colic
And more …
What happens in a treatment?
My craniosacral treatment is a one-hour private session.
In the first session, I start with taking your case history.
Then you simply lie on the couch and relax.
I place my hands very gently on your body and listen to see where the restriction, disturbance, and imbalances are. The body has its natural rhythm and amazing healing potential. By tuning into it, the body gradually unfolds and balances itself.
I don't manipulate your body but rather the innate wisdom of your body restores the balance naturally.
It is a very gentle work but has a powerful impact on the mind and body.
Please wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a clean pair of socks.
Please give at least 24hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Missed appointment or cancellation less than 24hours notice will be charged for the lesson.
